A passion for vintage black and white photographs.
I began my love for photography as many have done in the past, processing their own film and making their own prints in the darkroom. I also began a love affair with the old processes in photography. I studied them in college and practiced them as often as i could. using the old chemicals and processes is a skill and an art. Printing 8x10 contact prints is an art that is lost on the new digital photographer. Working this way i feel a deep connection with all the photographer who have come before me. Black and white photography is my passion and my obsession. It dwells within me. through my deep understanding of the processes I will always more deeply apricate black and white photographs .
